MONROE — Sheriff’s deputies responded to a shooting and violent assault in Monroe County’s Frenchtown Township early Tuesday.
Sheriff Troy Goodnough said units responded to the 1200 block of Sunset Boulevard on a 4:15 a.m. report of an assault and while en route received additional information that one of the suspects fired a gunshot before fleeing the scene.
