WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s (NCDEQ) Division of Coastal Management (DCM) has received another extension to complete its review of a federal request to deepen and widen the Wilmington Harbor.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers granted additional time, extending the decision deadline from Jan. 5 to Jan. 19.
