H ouston, at least when it comes to its street names, has never been one for consistency.
The city’s streets get their names from Spanish, French, German, old Texas families and whatever a developer felt like honoring the day the asphalt and concrete were laid.
What happened to a simple grid and some numbers? Oh, wait. We have those, too…
