NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – A New Orleans dance group is preparing to take part in the London New Year’s Day Parade after receiving a formal invitation to perform in the international event.

“Bad Moms That Dance” dance group said it first received an email invitation in spring 2024 but initially dismissed it as a scam. After revisiting the message and confirming its authenticity, organizers from the parade traveled to New Orleans in October 2024 to formally extend the invitation.
The group accepted and left for London this week. About 100 people, including friends and family members, are expected to make the trip.
