Fatal Multi-Car Collision in South St. Louis Claims Life of Community Member and Elementary School Parent

One person was killed yesterday morning in a multi-vehicle crash on Watson Road in south St. Louis. The crash occurred shortly after 9:15 a.m. near the intersection of Bradley Avenue in the Lindenwood Park neighborhood. According to KSDK, a witness reported that another person inside the vehicle was injured. St. Louis police advised the public to avoid the area as officers responded to and investigated the scene.

The cause of the crash has not yet been determined as authorities continue to investigate. FOX 2 Now reported that the collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. in the 3200 block of Watson Road, between Bradley and Fyler avenues. The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Unit is handling the investigation. No additional details were released at the time.
