Fallen Vivian police officer honored by Point 27

ATLANTA, Ga. — Point 27 recently honored fallen Vivian police Officer Marc Brock, who was shot and killed Nov. 14 serving a search warrant in Vivian.

To honor him, Point 27 sent gifts of Thin Blue Line Shields of Strength dog-tag necklaces inscribed with Matthew 5:9, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God” to the Vivian Police Department for Brock’s and the officers who served closely with him, and Keepsake Folded Flag Pendant Necklaces inscribed with John 15:13, “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” for his family.

Point 27 is a non-profit charity incorporated in the state of Georgia that pays respect and admires the “brave men and women who answer the call of duty and daily risk their lives for the freedom and security every American enjoys. Our vision is to see people strengthened by God’s Word and victorious in life’s battles,” the all-volunteer organization states on its website.
