A couple of clipper systems will bring in light snow across the stateline through New Year’s Eve

  • Gradual clearing overnight
  • Diminishing winds
  • Sub-zero wind chills by Tuesday morning
  • Snow showers Tuesday and Wednesday

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – It was a much colder day as temperatures remained roughly ten degrees below average for this time of year. Skies will gradually clear out overnight as winds diminish. This will set the stage for a colder night as temperatures cool into the single digits with sub-zero wind chills by tomorrow morning.
