WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A West Valley City mother has been charged with physically assaulting her teenage daughter, at one point making the girl believe she might die.
A 38-year-old mother, whose identity is not being disclosed to protect the victim, is charged with two counts of intentional or knowing aggravated child abuse, a second-degree felony.
According to court documents, a 14-year-old reported to the West Valley City Police Department that her mother had abused her on May 5. She stated that they were in an argument when her mother “threw her on the bed and grabbed her neck.”…
