A former employee of Dotty’s has received a 30-year prison sentence after confessing to embezzlement.
61-year-old Thomas Tonar, from Sun Valley, had illegally obtained more than $700,000 while working for them. The perks offered to a full-time employee of Dotty’s are quite lucrative; they include PTO, a 410K and health insurance.
On four acts of embezzling more than $100,000, Tomar was given 20 consecutive years in prison. In addition, he will spend 2 to 10 years more for embezzlement of less than $100,000. The time that Tonar will spend in prison is between 8 to 30…
