The City of Albany continued to see a decrease in violent and property crime in 2025, with many categories showing decrease percentages in the double digits compared to 2024.
On Tuesday, the Albany Police Department providing its data, through December 30th, to CBS6. In many cases, after highs in 2022 and 2023, the 2025 statistics continued the trend towards levels at their lowest since 2019.
