A 76-year-old Athens man who was rescued by firefighters from a burning house on Christmas Eve has been released from the Augusta Burn Center, a spokesman for the Athens-Clarke County Fire Department said Tuesday.
“He has been released and is expected to make a full recovery,” Fire Capt. Kevin Kearney said.
