As many as 400 teenagers fled into the streets of Midtown Saturday after a brawl in Atlantic Station escalated and fireworks were shot, Atlanta police say.
A “very large” group of teenagers were part of a busy crowd at Atlantic Station, a mixed residential and commercial neighborhood, on Dec. 27 when police were alerted to a brawl that had broken out near the Dillard’s, police said.
The teens were there unsupervised, police say, a violation of the Atlantic Station rules. Police started to work to disperse the groups when loud sounds rung out around Atlantic Station.
