New Marion County animal shelter set to open in spring

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – Marion County officials say a new animal shelter is slated to open in the spring will be ten times bigger than the current facility.

The shelter, which is being built along West Highway 40 in Ocala, was supposed to open this month before the timeline was pushed back.
