Nation’s No. 1 QB Prospect Makes Surprising Recruiting Decision on Wednesday

One of the more promising quarterback recruits will arrive on the college football scene a little sooner than expected. Recruiting analyst Hayes Fawcett reported on Wednesday that Champ Monds will graduate high school earlier to speed up his gridiron career.

“BREAKING: Elite 2028 QB Wonderful ‘Champ’ Monds IV has reclassified to the 2027 Class, he tells me for @rivals,” Fawcett wrote on X. “The 6’3 215 QB from Port St. Lucie, FL was ranked as the No. 1 QB in the 2028 Rivals300.”
