Police seeking identity of person of interest in fatal shooting of 36-year-old man in downtown Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in the fatal shooting of a 36-year-old man outside of St. Paul’s Community Center downtown Toledo on Friday afternoon.

A Toledo police sergeant at the scene told WTOL 11 that video evidence showed an intoxicated person with a firearm shoot the victim, Andrew Shively, following an argument.

Police responded to the shooting shortly after 3 p.m. near the intersection of 13th Street and Madison Avenue and found Shively with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries…
