LELAND, N.C. (WECT) – A rail transportation company plans to lay off 87 workers and permanently close eight offices across North Carolina, including one in Leland.
According to a WARN notice from the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Railcrew Xpress will shut down its Leland location at 407 Old Mill Road NE on Feb. 27. The closure will affect four employees.
