Baton Rouge families mourn Christmas Day crash, urge drivers to buckle up

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – Several Baton Rouge families are still grieving after a deadly car crash on Christmas Day in St. James Parish that killed four people and injured two others.

Among the victims was Tyreione Parker, a Baton Rouge native. Louisiana State Police say Parker was driving when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed head-on into another car. Investigators are still working to determine what caused the wreck.

Parker’s mother, Tamika DeJean, said the loss has forever changed the holidays for her family…
