A Sussex, Wisconsin, man is suing Waukesha County Sheriff‘s deputies in federal court, claiming he was unlawfully arrested during a traffic stop.

Napoleon Jones was arrested and jailed for five hours on May 4, 2025, after refusing to provide identification to a deputy during a traffic stop in Sussex, according to the lawsuit filed on Dec. 1 in the U.S. District Court of Eastern Wisconsin.
