Don’t get me wrong – fixed-blade knives are quite useful and I have a handful that I really like and enjoy.
But the biggest issue is size and comfort. Usually, fixed blades just don’t feel all that comfortable to carry around for hours at a time, whether clipped to your belt or your pocket.
