Wisconsin woman arrested for 4th OWI following hit-and-run crash

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say one woman in central Wisconsin has now been arrested for her 4th OWI offense following a hit-and-run incident on Sunday evening.

According to a release from the Madison Police Department, officers responded to reports of a head-on crash just before 6:00 p.m. in the area of the intersection between North Thompson Road and Swanton Road.

The victim in the crash was able to provide police with the suspect’s license plate and a vehicle description. The description matched that of a recent caller who reported the same vehicle “swerving all over the road” just minutes before the crash.
