A snowy end to 2025 ahead for the stateline

  • Cooler start to 2026

(WIFR) – Before we get to the forecast, I want to wish everyone a happy New Year’s Eve and thank you for putting your trust in the WIFR First Alert Weather Team. It’s been another great year forecasting for the stateline and I’m looking forward to what 2026 will bring.

To end our year, mother nature will give us a bit of an active ending to the year. Another Alberta Clipper system is taking aim at the region and it will arrive around or just after lunch time today. This will give us another chance to see some accumulating snowfall across the region. Luckily, the lack of moisture in this system will keep our snowfall on the lighter side with a half of an inch to an inch of snow expected.
