BELOIT, Wis. — An Illinois man will spend the next five years in federal prison after prosecutors said he sold cocaine while on parole for a previous drug trafficking conviction.
Tyreese Taylor, 43, of Machesney Park, Ill. was sentenced Tuesday to 54 months in federal prison for distributing cocaine and an additional 12 months and one day for violating the terms of his supervised release.
Taylor was released from prison in 2019 after a federal drug trafficking conviction but was sent back to prison in 2021 after prosecutors said he sold drugs. He was released again in 2024…
