Gruesome discovery of over 30 bodies in Houston bayous spark serial killer fears

Police have discovered more than 30 dead bodies in the Houston-area bayous, prompting fears of a serial killer in the area. Despite the 30 people having very different causes of death, the rumours of a serial murderer have already begun to go viral.

According to the Houston Police Department, a total of three bodies were found near bayous in Harris County last week. Autopsy reports for these bodies are still pending. Now, the total number of bodies found in the bayous over the course of the year stands at 34, which is just one short of 2024’s record, the Houston Chronicle reported.

The local police department has insisted that there are currently no suspicions of a serial killer on the loose in the region; however, some are still speculating.

Tourist Juan Sandoval told ABC 13, “The math isn’t mathing, I think there’s a serial killer. I get Nevada’s ‘for you’ page now, and even in Nevada, they’re talking about Buffalo Bayou, so it’s that bad, it’s reaching another state, across state lines.”…
