Shreveport Police Arrest Three for Separate Violent Incidents

Over the holiday weekend, Shreveport Police responded to multiple separate and unrelated violent incidents, resulting in several arrests.

On Christmas Day, officers responded to a call about a woman who was reportedly armed with a dangerous weapon. Following the investigation, Tamyra Hampton was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon. No one was seriously injured.

On December 27th, Desmond Robinson was arrested and charged with Domestic Abuse Strangulation and two counts of Child Endangerment, along with charges for an unrelated incident.

On December 28th, Khendrial Griffin was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Battery with a Dangerous Weapon following a violent encounter with a victim.

These crimes are not connected, but each had the potential to result in serious injury or loss of life. Thankfully, none of the victims involved sustained significant injuries…
