Austin police on Monday released new details regarding Sunday’s multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 183 in Southeast Austin, including the identity of the wrong-way driver charged in the crash.
Officers with the Austin Police Department responded around 9:31 a.m. to the crash in the 3100 block of south U.S. 183, where investigators say a SUV, a hatchback and a sedan were involved. The female driver of the hatchback was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later arrested the driver of the SUV, identified as Angelicque Bramlett, 27, and charged her with intoxication manslaughter.
