ST. LOUIS – If you’re eye was on the sky early Wednesday morning in St. Louis, chances are you caught a meteor flying across.
At 5:22 a.m. a camera on the Earth Cam network located at the Malcolm Martin Memorial Park in East St. Louis captured a meteor traveling across the skyline in downtown St. Louis. You can see videos from all Earth Cam locations here.
The green glow was seen beginning in the north and appeared to extinguish as it passed the Gateway Arch.
Meteorologist Angela Hutti explained that the green hue was from the meteor burning up…
