A five-year-old girl died from her injuries in the hospital after the car she was in crashed Monday afternoon in Greeley.
The girl was a passenger in a Ford Focus that was hit on the side by a Tesla while attempting to make a left turn from U.S. 85 onto 22nd Street around 2:15 p.m. Monday, the Greeley Police Department said Wednesday on Facebook. The crash caused both vehicles to spin into a semi truck that was stopped at the intersection.
The girl was taken to Denver’s Children’s Hospital Colorado in critical condition, where she later died from her injuries, police said. The 24-year-old driver of the Focus had minor injuries from the crash; the 51-year-old Tesla driver and the semi truck driver were uninjured…
