SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The name of a man who died in a two-car crash near Arlington Friday has been released.
Sioux Falls fire causes damage to garage
Peter Juergen Ritschel, 62, of Faribault, Minnesota, was driving east on US 14 near mile marker 399 and crossed the center line where he collided head-on with another driver in the westbound lane, a news release from the South Dakota Department of Public Safety said.
Ritschel died at the scene. The 37-year-old driver in the other vehicle had serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts.
