Man arrested in fatal Las Vegas street takeover shooting

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – A 19-year-old man was arrested following a deadly shooting during an illegal street takeover in the southwest Las Vegas valley, according to Las Vegas Metro police.

Joredyn Hubbard, 19, was arrested on Dec. 26 and faces an open murder charge, records show.

Police ask for public’s help in deadly Las Vegas shooting investigation

The shooting took place on Nov. 8, around midnight, at a large gathering in the 5000 block of Patrick Lane near Decatur Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead several days later.

“If you were present at any point during this gathering and have any recording of this incident, remember no video or information is too small and it may be used to help solve this case,” LVMPD Lt. Robert Price said back in November.
