RTC again offering free transit rides this New Year’s Eve

Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada will once again be offering free rides on all transit routes on New Year’s Eve.

To ensure a safe travel option for locals and visitors celebrating the holiday and traveling throughout Southern Nevada, free transit rides are available from 6 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 31 through 9 a.m., Thursday, Jan.1. Transit riders can board any RTC bus route without purchasing a pass or presenting fare.

“New Year’s Eve is a big night for Las Vegas, and RTC is happy to provide free rides to those joining the celebration” said M.J.Maynard-Carey, CEO of RTC. “Ensuring that everyone in Southern Nevada has a reliable and safe way to reach their destination is a focus for RTC year-round, and providing that service is an honor.
