VANCOUVER, Wash. (KPTV) – A group of Vancouver mothers is using part of their holiday break to push for safety improvements at a busy intersection near Wy’east Middle School, citing recent crashes involving students.
Wy’east Middle School parent Tanya English said that over a five-day period, she witnessed emergency responses to two separate incidents in which students were struck by vehicles at the intersection of Southeast 136th Avenue and Southeast McGillivray Boulevard.
