The Hoosiers were on the cusp of their first loss of the season at Penn State, one that could have derailed their hopes of a second straight College Football Playoff berth. Seven yards separated Indiana from a comeback win over the Nittany Lions.
With the Hoosiers facing third and goal, Fernando Mendoza lofted a ball to the back of the endzone.
