Knoxville police begin installing cameras for new information center

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knoxville Police Department has started to install cameras for its new Real Time Information Center (RTIC).

KPD said the center, which has been in development for much of 2025, will help the department better monitor the city using new technology.
