“This is truly heartbreaking news, and. this loss is deeply felt throughout our school community,” Hillside Public Schools said in a statement. “Mr. Woolard was a dedicated leader whose commitment to students, families, staff, and colleagues made a lasting and meaningful impact. He will be deeply missed. Our thoughts are with his family.”
According to Village Green, Woolard died after a short battle with cancer.
