Southwest Florida veterans and a host of state and local officials have the first of many milestones coming up with a new nursing home project starting in 2026.
A land dedication ceremony is set for Jan. 9 to usher in the county donating 23.5 acres to the state Department of Veterans’ Affairs that will be home to a future 120-bed VA nursing home and adult day center.
