San Diego County Sheriff’s Office giving another chance to claim stolen items

(FOX 5/KUSI) — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office is once again giving people a chance to claim stolen belongings linked to a string of burglaries in the North County communities of Vista, Oceanside and Escondido.

The items are estimated to be worth roughly $1 million and range from rare comic books and sports collectibles to power tools and electronics. They were recovered in October and November after being stolen from various storage units across the North County, authorities say.
