AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department reported that it has seen an increase in drivers “who are unintentionally driving with a stolen license plate.”
According to APD, drivers may be reporting a missing front or rear license plate but are driving with the remaining plate.

“Once a plate is reported stolen, continuing to drive with the other plate still on your vehicle means you are driving with a stolen license plate,” said officials.
