Horace Grigsby

Horace Grigsby, a jazz musician, died at 89 after battling lung cancer. He was born in Houston in 1935 and spent his childhood sneaking out to juke joints. Grigsby joined the Marines and found himself back in Houston in 1965. He played around Houston and was known for mentoring younger musicians…
