The residents of Grand Prairie have been asked to adjust their calendars for garbage pick-up this week, according to an update from the city. As the New Year’s week often brings a surge in waste, households can expect some shifts to the usual schedule to accommodate the increased volume.
Typically, residents south of Warrior Trail would set their trash out on Thursday, Jan. 1. Due to the holiday, this pick-up will be moved to Friday, Jan. 2. Similarly, those north of Warrior Trail will see their garbage collected on Saturday, Jan. 3, instead of Friday.
