JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – As the clock strikes midnight and people ring in the new year, it’s important to use fireworks safely.
In 2024, more than 14,000 people were treated in emergency rooms for firework-related injuries, and 11 people died, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
