KCFD responds to another Parade Park apartment fire as Lucas says demolition comes next month

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An apartment complex that has been riddled with vacant fires saw another Tuesday night, according to KCFD.

The fire, which was called in to the Kansas City Fire Department at 7:07 p.m. in the 1500 block of Euclid, came on the same day Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas told KCTV the demolition of the complex is scheduled for the end of January.

“After you have your demolition, at the end of January, and by the end of January, you’re going to have the steps on rebuilding. Hopefully, you continue to have a process where, within the next two or three years, you have folks able to move into some parts of the new Parade Park development,” Lucas said…
