El Paso Eastside Senior Center Launches Free Weekly Writer’s Club for Seniors 55+

If you’re a senior in El Paso with a knack for storytelling or a burgeoning interest in the literary arts, the Eastside Senior Center’s latest undertaking might just be your new Friday fixation. The City of El Paso Municipal Government, through its Parks and Recreation Department, is putting the word out to the community, inviting adults aged 55 and over to join the Eastside Writers’ Club, a complimentary weekly gathering for those looking to share their stories, ignite their creative spark, and mingle with like-minded writers in an amenable environment.

With sessions slated to commence on January 9 and continue every Friday, from the early bird hour of 9:00 AM until the late morning stretch of 11:00 AM, the club is a perfect opportunity for elders to acquaint themselves with the literary scene, and it doesn’t cost a dime, according to El Paso Parks and Recreation.
