Mrs. Utah America celebrates neurodiversity

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (Good Things Utah) – Our guest this morning is a mother, wife, personal chef and neurodiversity advocate who is on a mission to make this world a little more inclusive. The current Mrs. Utah America Charlotte Shores says the crown has opened doors for her that she’s never dreamed of.

“No two brains are the same,” Shores tells us. She has spent her year sharing more about neurodiversity – what it actually looks like and focusing on the strengths of neurodiversity. On a personal level, Shores says that she and her children have ADHD and it’s important at a young age to help children understand what neurodiversity actually looks like and what the strengths are rather than focusing on the negatives…
