MAGNA, Utah (ABC4) — A man was arrested and charged after allegedly choking his wife and assaulting his stepson during an argument with his wife.
The man, who ABC4 is not identifying to protect the victims, is charged with aggravated child abuse, aggravated assault, two counts of commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse, and property damage.
On Dec. 21, the man’s 6-year-old daughter reported that her mom and dad were fighting, and that her dad barged into the office, threw her mom’s computer on the floor, and began choking her mom. She told police that she was scared and that she tried to push him away from her mom, but his grip was too strong.

He allegedly threw his daughter across the hall, and she told police that she hit her “bum really hard on the ground,” and she started to cry. She also said that he began to choke her mother again and broke her glasses…
