Family seeks answers in 11-year-old cold case

DENVER — For more than a decade, the killing of Toshio Gilmore has gone unsolved.

Denver Police found the 33-year-old father of three shot to death on a couch outside his apartment building near Lowry Boulevard just before 5 a.m. on New Year’s Eve 2014. The death was quickly ruled a homicide, but 11 years later, no arrests have been made and the case remains unsolved.

Gilmore’s cousin, Calray Mills, said the loss weighs heavily on the family more than a decade later…
