HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – The Henderson Police Department (HPD) is looking for a suspect in regard to a motel shooting.
HPD says on December 28, 2025, Henderson Police were called to the Downtown Motel located at 425 North Green Street in Henderson in reference to an individual that had been shot. Police say the victim was transported to an area hospital and has since been released.

Officers say detectives were called to the scene, began their investigation and were able to develop a suspect. HPD says on December 30, 2025, an arrest warrant was issued for Menelik H. Brank, 46, of Henderson, for Assault 1st Degree.
