HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The Huntsville Police Department is setting up DUI checkpoints around the city on Wednesday night in an effort to curb drunk driving.
The checkpoints honor the memory of Hannah Parton, who was killed by an impaired driver almost five years ago, as well as another unnamed woman, HPD said.
Jacob Stephens, the man who hit Parton, was found guilty of reckless murder for Parton and another woman’s deaths. He was sent to prison for 30 years…
