SOCASTEE, SC (WMBF) – A Horry County high school senior will perform in the Rose Parade before the 2026 Rose Bowl between Alabama and Indiana on Thursday.
John Buie IV, a student at the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology and member of the Socastee High School marching band, was selected to perform with the Bands of America Honor Band in the 6-mile-long Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
