Two out-of-staters were arrested for theft after skip-scanning 25 items in a Walmart.
An asset proctection associate of Walmart, located at 550 U.S. Hwy. 27, Clermont, caught 42-year-old Quintorius Flynn of Texas and 40-year-old Jacqueline Denise Mack of Alabama skip-scanning around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Surveillance footage of the theft showed both women using a self-checkout register. Flynn picked up multiple items from their shopping cart and bagged them without paying. Mack would retrieve several things but only scan one of them before putting them in grocery bags. They did this with 25 items worth $97.08, the report said…
