Red Cross rushes to aid family of 3 after New Year’s home fire in Port St. Lucie

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — An early morning house fire on New Year’s Day left a family of three displaced in Port St. Lucie.

The Red Cross announced on Thursday that within hours of the fire, local American Red Cross volunteer members of the Disaster Action Team, from the Palm Beach Treasure Coast Chapter, responded to a home fire on SW Seaside Road.
